Every few weeks someone sends me the same message. "Our video got rejected by Google Ads. Again." Trading tools, crypto apps, finance products — it doesn't really matter what's in the video. The moment the topic touches money, the standard ad review gets nervous, and your campaign sits in "limited" or "disapproved" while your competitors keep posting.
So let me explain how we deal with that, and then show you a case where it worked really well.
How we promote YouTube videos without fighting Google Ads review
The idea is simple. We don't push your video through Google Ads at all.
Instead, we show it across our own network of video services and placements — players, apps and sites where people already watch video every day. The viewer sees your clip there, gets interested, taps — and the video opens for them on YouTube, in the normal YouTube app or player. Same video, same channel, same like and subscribe buttons.
For you this means three things:
- Your video doesn't need to pass the standard Google Ads moderation. Trading, crypto and fintech videos that keep getting flagged can still reach a real audience.
- The viewer ends up on your actual YouTube video, not on some random landing page. Comments, subscriptions and the rest of your channel all work for you.
- You choose the GEO and the audience — we're not limited to the countries where a classic ad account is allowed to run your vertical.
One honest note: "doesn't need to pass Google Ads review" doesn't mean "anything goes." We don't run scams or content that's illegal in the target country. What we solve is the very common situation where a normal, legal product gets blocked simply because it lives in a "sensitive" category.
Case: 1M+ impressions and 6,000+ installs for a trading bot in LATAM
The client came to us with a trading bot and a video explaining how it works. The product was fine. The problem was distribution: the video kept bumping into ad review, and organic growth on a fresh channel was slow.
The target was Latin America — a region where interest in trading and crypto keeps growing, and where people actively look for tools that make it easier to get started.
Here's what we did:
- Took the client's existing YouTube video, without re-editing it for ad policies.
- Launched it across our video network with LATAM targeting.
- Sent every interested viewer to the original video on YouTube, where the call to action and the bot link were already in place.
- Watched which placements actually brought people who installed the bot, and moved budget there.
The results:
- 1,000,000+ impressions of the video across LATAM.
- 6,000+ installs of the trading bot.
What I liked most about this campaign: people didn't come from a cold banner. They came after watching the product explained in the client's own video, on the client's own channel. That's a warmer user than someone who clicked a flashy ad and landed on a page they don't trust yet.
When this approach makes sense
From what we've seen, it works best if:
- your video keeps getting rejected or limited in Google Ads because of the topic;
- you want growth for a specific YouTube video, not only clicks to a site;
- you're targeting emerging markets like LATAM, where reach is cheaper and competition is still lower;
- the video itself already does a good job explaining the product.
If your clip is weak, no distribution will save it. But if the video is good and the only thing standing between it and the audience is ad review — that's exactly the problem we solve.
If you have a video that "can't be promoted," get in touch — we'll look at it and tell you honestly what reach and results to expect. More on video formats for sensitive niches — in video ads for iGaming and crypto, and more LATAM numbers — in our LATAM iGaming case. All case studies are in the blog.
